Students Helping Students® Scholarship
CONTEST RULES
PLEASE READ THESE RULES VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY. We won’t be able to consider entries that don’t follow the rules.
Rules and Eligibility:
1. Open to all juniors and seniors currently attending a high school in the United States. If you’ve just graduated from high school and will be starting college in the fall you ARE eligible to enter this contest. If you’re home-schooled, you ARE eligible to enter this contest as long as you’re in your junior or senior year. All students who are currently attending a college or university in the United States are ALSO eligible. If you have graduated from college, you are NOT eligible.
2. Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States. International students with valid visas are also eligible.
3. Applicant must submit the contest entry by email ONLY - type your essay/speech directly into the message - NO ATTACHMENTS ARE ALLOWED!; and the entry must be received by 5 PM, EST, on January 15, 2005.
4. Only one application allowed per person.
5. The entry must be original and not previously published in either print or electronic form.
6. Entries should be approximately 500 words or less. Entries above 550 words are not eligible.
7. Each entry must include the applicant’s first and last name, grade level, name of school, city and state of school, and a valid email address.
8. All submitted entries become the property of NATAVI GUIDES and may be used for publicity, marketing, and publication in print or electronic form.
9. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to sex, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin of applicant.
10. Scholarships will be paid directly to the winners.
11. No scholarships will be awarded to applicants who don’t meet all eligibility requirements.
12. Winners will be notified by email by March 1, 2005 and posted on StudentsHelpingStudents.com by March 15, 2005.
